THE MALTESE ADVENTURE

We haven’t been able to travel for two years due to the pandemic. But… we are back!

Gonzalo Korreas has resumed the lingüistic immersions.

We left for Malta the 8th February 2023. Heavy rain and strong winds welcomed us on our arrival. The Mediterranean Storm Helios lasted for two days. But then, it as over: the sun started to shine, the wind to blow gently and at the same time that we –our belongings and accommodation- were gettting dry, we learned about the awesome country we were visiting. Sightseeing in Gozo, a wide range of cosy little beaches and huge harbours, ports, churches, caves sculptured by the sea, Popeye’s village, and gorgeous cities like La Valleta, Rabat, M’edina,……

We soon realised we could speak and understand more English, we could order a meal, we could take buses (Joseph, the driver, will always be our hero!) ferries, boats, taxis, we could ask for directions or any kind of help,….. We met different people from all over the world, and we learned to open our minds and being extremely respectful, we learned to travel as part of our lives.
